The Health and Justice Advocacy Network (HJAN) is a network of Episcopalians and community members interested in health policy and how it impacts the Episcopal Diocese of Texas and our state. HJAN was created to engage and equip congregations in identifying pertinent current issues concerning health, sharing information, and taking the lead on moving forward with advocacy. We will pay special attention to the intersection of race, poverty, and health in both ongoing and crisis issues. We understand health to include both physical and mental health.
The challenge is to see how many people your church can get to the polls by election day November 8!
Each church will encourage their members and partners to vote and take a picture of their “I voted” sticker. Winners will be those with the pictures of the most “I voted” stickers from their church and partners and those with the highest percentage of stickers for their size.
