Online Health Data Resources

Public Data Source Directory

EHF believes that public data should be accessible to the communities it represents. When communities can find and use data about their own neighborhoods, they are better equipped to understand local needs, strengthen their work, and advocate for change.

Episcopal Health Foundation’s Public Data Source Directory is a searchable tool designed to help organizations and collaboratives find public data sources relevant to their work. Partners can use the directory to identify sources that align with their focus areas, communities served, geographic needs, and preferred data formats.

How to Use the Directory

Use the filters on the left to narrow sources by geographic level, focus area, population focus, data/resource format, and ease of use. You can also search by source name or keyword.

Each source includes a link and short description. Click into a source to learn more about suggested uses, how to navigate the source, how current the data is, and who manages the data.

Have feedback on the matrix?

This tool is intended to support partners as they find and use publicly available data. If you have suggestions for improving the matrix or know of a source that should be added, please email research@episcopalhealth.org.
