New EHF analysis: More than 1 million Texans activated their 2018 Affordable Care Act health insurance

Despite initial reports showing a drop in enrollment numbers, more than 1 million Texans have activated their Affordable Care Act (ACA) health insurance in 2018 – a 5 percent increase from 2017. More than 1.1 million Texans enrolled in Affordable Care Act (ACA) health insurance for 2018 despite ongoing uncertainty, numerous Congressional efforts to repeal the law, and a drastically shortened enrollment period.
