Congregation Connection

The EHF Learning Network is a next step for Episcopal congregations looking for imaginative ways to connect, deepen strategies for promoting mental health and well-being, and gain experience using virtual meeting platforms to invite meaningful conversation. These 90-minute sessions are aimed at exploring how we can create connection and promote the mental health and well-being of people in our communities and congregations.

The second Learning Network session of 2021, “Criminal (in)Justice,” aimed to: 1) increase understanding of the nature and impact of incarceration; 2) clarify the intersection of mental health and justice involvement; and 3) identify intervention points along the continuum of justice involvement, including where congregations may have an opportunity to make a difference.
