In an online presentation with Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy, EHF’s executive chair Linnet Deily and CEO Elena Marks talk about how the health system should address non-medical, community factors that created serious health disparities during COVID-19 and EHF’s role in addressing #HealthNotJustHealthCare.
Bishop C. Andrew Doyle and EHF’s Elena Marks release an important statement condemning active and structural racism — because the health of Texas depends on it.
EHF leaders announced a plan to address the long-term effects of the COVID-19 crisis, while also helping partner nonprofits and organizations continue business operations to serve at-risk communities across Texas. The multi-approach strategy includes a business continuity grant program, loan fund, technical assistance, and research project.
