The Texas Pharmacy Association, in collaboration with Episcopal Health Foundation, and Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) leadership hosted a webinar on September 24, 2026, on federal HR 1 policy changes concerning the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) program benefits and what they may mean for the patients and communities you serve.

HHSC provided details about key changes and provided practical tools and resources that pharmacy professionals can use to help patients better navigate their options and connect with available support. HHSC’s Ambassador and Community Partner Programs can help guide patients through change, answer questions, connect them to critical services, and ensure they have the information and support they need.
