This conference is an opportunity in East Texas for all sectors in multiple counties to learn, plan, and build an initiative to address poverty together.

National and local experts will prepare you to work across economic classes to address the four causes of poverty, support individuals as they build resources, and achieve a sustainable community where everyone can live well.

This conference offers best practices in public, private, and social sectors with sessions for education, workplace, congregations, healthcare, policy-making, community, criminal justice and first responders.

Most anti-poverty programs lack a system-wide scope of effort. But when ALL stakeholders people in poverty, communities, businesses, organizations–come to the table with a coherent plan of action, amazing things happen. Bridges to Sustainable Communities includes clear examples and proven best-practices of what s possible when we re all on the same page. It is a collection of articles published by Philip DeVol, co-author of Bridges Out Of Poverty and a leading voice in helping people come together to end poverty.
