EHF continues to grow in 2016! We’ve added three new employees to our team:

Robiel Abraha joins EHF as a research associate. He’ll provide project management and oversight of various research assignments. Most recently, Robiel was a research coordinator at Mischer Neuroscience Associates in Houston. He earned a Master’s degree in public health from Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health in Atlanta. He also graduated from the University of Texas at Austin.

Shona Sen is the new project manager for EHF’s Community Centered Health Homes initiative. She’ll oversee this exciting new effort that supports community health centers to be more effective in improving patient health by providing tools to address the root causes of poor health. Shona has worked as a community liaison at the Houston Department of Health and Human Services and as a research and policy intern at Children at Risk. She earned a dual Master’s degree in public policy and a MBA in nonprofit management at Brandeis University. She’s also a UT-Austin grad.

Finally, Cindy Lucia joins EHF as a new program officer. She’ll work with the grants team to evaluate and investigate grant proposals. Cindy has extensive experience in fundraising and nonprofits, and in commercial and personal banking. Cindy holds an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at UT-Austin and graduated from Duke University.
