The 2020 Pediatric Brain Health Summit is being held March 23-24 in Austin and brings together community-based organizations and health care professionals to discuss and learn about strategies for promoting strong brains for the youngest Texans.

The 2020 Pediatric Brain Health (PBH) Summit is being held March 23-24 at the AT&T Executive Conference Center in Austin. The purpose of the Summit is to build stronger connections between pediatric providers and community-based organizations that provide support and services for families.

The FREE event will explore:

  • Policies and practices that help support families and mitigate adversity
  • Screening for social determinants of health, adverse childhood experiences, and perinatal depression in the pediatric setting
  • Creating connections between community organizations and medical practices
  • Big and little things that can be done in the pediatric practice to support families

The 2020 Summit is a collaboration between Episcopal Health Foundation, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, the Texas Department of State Health Services, St. David’s Foundation, Casey Family Programs, The University of Texas System, and The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler.
