Episcopal Health Foundation is thrilled to announce that C.J. Eisenbarth Hager has been promoted to Vice President of Grants!
C.J. has been serving as interim VP and was a critical part of the development of EHF’s Strategic Framework and our learning efforts around the new Priorities for Change.
With a career spanning three decades, C.J. brings deep expertise in advancing opportunity through policy and systems change that address the social and non-medical factors affecting health. She has worked as an advocate, policy analyst, researcher, and coalition-builder at the national, state, and local levels.
Before joining EHF in 2021, she led groundbreaking work at Vitalyst Health Foundation in Arizona where she helped shape community-driven plans in Phoenix, championed Complete Streets policies, and helped launch the Maricopa County Food System Coalition.
Her leadership is grounded in EHF’s clear vision to change systems and remove barriers to improve health, not just health care for all Texans.
