Episcopal Health Foundation (EHF) contracted with Texas Health Institute (THI) from April through September 2024 to carry out a landscape scan of diabetes prevention programs (DPPs) utilizing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) lifestyle change program curriculum or a similar curriculum in Texas.
Through this project, EHF sought to better understand how DPPs are operating in Texas, the program successes and challenges in the context of the state, and the current financial landscape of DPPs, including long-term sustainability and scalability of the programs.
The final report summarizes the findings of this project, which are organized by the domains in the evaluation framework.
