SUMMARY:EHF Mental Health Learning Network Series | November 2023
DESCRIPTION:In 2023\, the Congregational Engagement Team will offer a virtual Mental Health Learning Network Series to support congregations as they promote mental health in their communities. The Learning Network is the next step for Episcopal congregations looking for imaginative ways to connect\, deepen strategies for promoting mental health and well-being\, and gain experience using virtual meeting platforms to invite meaningful conversation. \nThe sessions will have two primary goals:\n1) Increasing participants’ knowledge related to mental health and well-being\, particularly through the lens of social justice; and \n2) Building connections across congregations in Texas with similar interests in promoting congregational and community well-being. \nSession 5 | November 14\, 2023\nREGISTER HERE! \nAddressing the Systemic Disparities in Community Mental Health\nTuesday\, November 14\, 2023 | 12 PM to 1:30 PM\nFacilitated by: Krystal Grimes\, M.S.\, LPC\n– Chief Strategist/Founder of AMMA Services and The HEAL Alliance\n– Network Coordinator- Central TX Health & Wellbeing Network\n– President- Bluebonnet Counseling Association\n\n\nWorkshop Overview:\nThis session is intended to be a vital step in acknowledging and addressing the systemic disparities that persist in our communities and society.
