Bridges Out of Poverty uses the lens of economic class and provides concrete tools and strategies for a community to prevent\, reduce\, and alleviate poverty. Through these established action areas\, we’re also excited to announce that the foundation’s next chapter will focus on critical game-changing priorities: maternal health\, food/nutrition security\, maternal health\, and diabetes prevention. Learn from Foundation staff about the state of these health issues in our diocese and begin to imagine how your congregation can make an impact. \n                Networking Session \n12 PM    Lunch \n1 PM      Three Engaging Workshops: \n												Activating Community Voice \nCommunity engagement enables a two-way interaction process between you and the communities you serve so that communities have a role in the planning and decision making. Come learn more about the Activating Community Voice (ACV) program and how it may help your congregation and community partners create a plan that can help you meet and understand the community before you start trying to be of service. \n												Civic Engagement: Vote Faithfully \nHow can I work with my church to educate voters in a non-partisan way? What can my church do to help my community exercise their right to vote? Together we’ll learn how to build relationships that expand our outreach and connect your congregation to the community through voting. \n												Beyond the Pantry: New Approaches to Food Security \nAddressing food insecurity with a twist! In this workshop you will hear from churches that reimagined what a food pantry could be through engaging their community.
