Community-based Research

SAG research release.jpg

EHF's community-based research projects help gather important data to help identify health needs in communities.

The kind of participatory research helps ensure all voices are heard at the decision-making level and makes sure all of our partners have the most up-to-date knowledge they need to effect change.

Recent Projects:
Below you'll seeSAG-research-lady-read-report-thumb.gif recent examples of this research from projects in Southwest Houston, Baytown and Beaumont. The goal of this particular work was to find out what really needs to change to improve the health of families who live in those neighborhoods. Along with answering key questions about their individual health and access to health services where they live, residents took pictures of things they saw as healthy and unhealthy in their community.
