Elena Marks explained the information compiled in EHF’s recently-released Children’s Health Snapshots on KPRC-TV’s Houston Newsmakers Sunday morning news program on March 22.
“We seem to have an intractable problem in Texas with bringing our children out of poverty,” Marks told host Khambrel Marshall. “And if you live in poverty, your prospects for a healthy and productive life are really dimmer than if you’re not born into poverty.”
