Grantmakers In Health (GIH), a nationwide leader in health philanthropy, has announced the election of Episcopal Health Foundation (EHF) president and CEO Elena Marks to its board of directors.
Marks joins five new directors on the GIH board including leaders from the Colorado Trust, The Commonwealth Fund and the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation. Marks and the other directors will each begin a three-year term immediately after the GIH Annual Conference on Health Philanthropy in March 2016.
“I’m excited for the unique opportunity to be a part of an organization well known for its focus on collaboration and innovation,” Marks said. “From advancing children’s health to shaping foundation roles in health policy change, GIH is increasing the effectiveness of grantmaking in improving the health of all people.”
